Missing Menu - Ubuntu Software Center
Saturday, November 7, 2009 by to'Wan
Hi guys,
Just want to jot it down for my future reference...
After upgrade from 9.04 to 9.10, the menu for Ubuntu Software Center (USC) was missing.... At first I have no idea how to fix it and even to run it....
Thanx to google and ubuntu wiki, I finally manage to run the USC successfully. All you need to do is:
1) Run from terminal: software-center
2) Add to menu: System > Preferences > Main Menu > New Menu
The type the preferred menu name i.e Ubuntu Software Center. Then type "software-center" in command. Finish~!
But, I've already send the bug to the launchpad.
Yeah~ Keep it up guys... thanx for the "up to par" OS..... we support open sources
